Qualifications

• This role requires licensure as a Funeral Director and knowledge of Catholic rites.
• Comfort with speaking to groups and coordinating services.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors/in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Deliver vigil, funeral Masses and committal services per instructions.
• Provide exceptional customer care to at-need families.
• Assist clergy and work with funeral arranger and Lead Service Director.
• Set up and clean CFCS facilities before and after services.
• Maintain vehicles and facility cleanliness and report issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor; work in a team.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associate Degree, preferred

Licensed Funeral Director

California Driver's License

Catholic in good standing
