Job summary

Legacy Funeral Group is seeking a part-time Funeral Assistant / Attendant in Natchitoches, LA to support funeral directors, assist with services, and provide excellent client care. Responsibilities include preparation of decedents, setup for services, office tasks, and driving duties as needed.

A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required, with a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Able to use a computer and type.
• Proficient in MS Office; willingness to learn other software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with removals of decedents as needed.
• Prepare, dress, and place decedents into casket.
• Set up services with floral arrangements, chairs, urns, and keepsakes.
