Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Driver's license may be required based on location.
• Experience work experience desired.
• Ability to update electronic records with accuracy.
• Ability to push or pull heavy loads up to 300 pounds.
• Professional attire and conduct required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare caskets and dress the deceased for services with care and respect.
• Move and transport caskets using lifting equipment as needed.
• Verify casket and belongings against records and update systems.
• Prepare and line the casket with sheets, liners, and memorabilia.
• Dress embalmed deceased in family-provided clothing and accessories.
• Open, adjust, and drape the casket for presentation to families.
• Support the Funeral Director and assist with returns of belongings.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and complete routine tasks.
• May serve as Paul Bearer or chauffeur for family transport as required.
