Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a part-time Funeral Director for Montlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Raleigh, NC. You will meet with families to plan services, coordinate arrangements, and lead a team of funeral professionals to deliver compassionate care.

Strong attention to detail, licensed as a funeral director and embalmer, and the ability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends are required. This role offers meaningful work in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Requires licensed funeral director and embalmer or ability to obtain state license.
• 1 year of experience as a licensed funeral director and 2 years of post-secondary education.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with empathetic care.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with clients to make funeral arrangements and prepare contracts.
• Performing embalming services as required.
• Directing funeral services and visitation, coordinating pallbearers, and assisting with hearse/limo when needed.
• Preparing permits and documents related to funerals and embalming.
• Maintaining cleanliness of preparation room and equipment.
• Performing related duties as assigned.
