S.E. Combined Services of Florida is seeking a licensed Funeral Director to oversee funeral arrangements, direct visitation, and coordinate graveside services in accordance with client wishes and applicable laws.

You will supervise embalmings, review contracts, manage merchandise options, and lead the Arrangements Conference, directing service details and ensuring respectful, compliant ceremonies for families.

Qualifications

• Licensed Funeral Director required.
• Strong interpersonal and empathetic communication.
• Ability to coordinate arrangements and ceremonies with families.

Responsabilités

• Receives or initiates calls with next of kin; schedules arrangements and confirms via email.
• May perform removals or transfers adhering to company standards and processes; updates removal status in software.
• Leads Arrangement Conference; presents cemetery property and merchandise options; completes contracts.
• Presides as Master of Ceremonies for visitation, funeral, or graveside services; ensures professional conduct and compliance.
• Plans events including music, flowers, catering; prepares memorials and memorabilia; oversees setup and teardown.
• Embalms or oversees embalming per procedures; ensures proper identification and preparation of the deceased.
• Maintains preparation room; disposes of hazardous waste; inventories supplies.
• Works under guidance; ensures regulatory compliance and professional standards.
• Interacts with families to fulfill death care requests and identifies leads for pre-need services.
• Performs attendant duties as needed and represents the location at community events.
