Job summary

S.E. Combined Services of Florida seeks a licensed Funeral Director to oversee mortuary operations, coordinate arrangements, and direct funeral services with a focus on regulatory compliance and compassionate family guidance.

You will guide families through arrangements conferences, supervise preparation teams, and manage logistics with vendors for music, catering, and memorial products while upholding high service standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receives or initiates calls to deceased next of kin, confirms contact information, discusses needs and schedules Arrangement appointments.
• May perform removals or transfers and updates removal status in proprietary software.
• Presides as Master of Ceremonies for visitation, funeral, or graveside services and ensures personal belongings are removed prior to burial.]
• Participates in event planning such as music, flowers, catering, and memorial products; prepares and sets up venues.
• Works under general guidance, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards; collaborates with manager for guidance.
