MissionHires is seeking an actively licensed Georgia Funeral Director and Embalmer to lead day-to-day service, operations, customer care, compliance, and staff support at the Alpharetta location. This role requires eligibility to serve as Funeral Director in Full and Continuous Charge (FDFCC).

The ideal candidate will grow revenue, maintain community relationships, and uphold high operational standards while ensuring compassionate family service and strict adherence to regulations.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Funeral Director license required.
• Embalmer license required.
• Minimum three years as licensed Funeral Director.
• Eligible for FDFCC approval.
• Ability to commute to Alpharetta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations at the Alpharetta location ensuring compliance with policies and laws.
• Provide compassionate support to families during arrangements and follow-up.
• Present products and services to families and secure revenue.
• Ensure payment is collected prior to service delivery per procedures.
• Build relationships with community, religious groups, and referral sources.
• Communicate differentiators including pricing, locations, and crematories.
• Maintain family files and manage orders and documentation.
• Provide regular updates and on-call support.
• Maintain high standards of care for decedents and facilities.
• Train and coach staff; lead morning huddles and model professionalism.
• Resolve customer and employee concerns promptly and professionally.
