Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking a licensed Funeral Director to facilitate arrangements with bereaved families and oversee funeral and related services. The role involves conducting arrangements conferences, presenting cemetery property options, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

You will coordinate event elements, guide families through merchandise and pricing, and support service teams in a compassionate, professional manner.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school or college of mortuary science.
• Licensed Funeral Director in the practicing state.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Able to interact with families with empathy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Arrangement Conferences and discuss needs with next of kin.
• Preside as Master of Ceremonies (MC) for visits, funerals, or graveside services.
• Plan and coordinate events (music, catering, flowers, memorials) for services.
• Guide families through cemetery property and product options, pricing, and contracts.
• Represent the location at community events and promote services.
