Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school or college of mortuary science.
• Current Funeral Director license within the practicing state.
• Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required to operate company owned vehicles.
• Industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Arrangements Conference: obtain contact info, discuss needs, schedule, and confirm appointments; discuss life insurance and available benefits; promote services and merchandise.
• Directing Services: preside as MC for visitations, funerals, or graveside services; ensure compliance and supervise preparation.
• Event Planning: coordinate music, flowers, catering, memorabilia; prepare event rooms and post-event cleanup.
• General: work under guidance, ensure regulatory compliance, communicate priorities, and support the team.
