Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking a licensed Funeral Director to compassionately facilitate funeral arrangement discussions with families and preside over visitation, funeral, and graveside services in alignment with laws and company standards.

You will manage arrangements with next of kin, coordinate contracts, and ensure compliance across mortuary and regulatory requirements while delivering professional, ceremonial leadership.

Qualifications

• Licensed Funeral Director in the practicing state and a degree from an accredited mortuary science program.
• Strong communication skills with families, and ability to explain options clearly.
• Compliance-focused with knowledge of relevant mortuary, health, and vital statistics rules.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate funeral arrangements with next of kin and preside over services.
• Coordinate arrangements conferences, pricing, and contracts.
• Lead and MC visitation, funeral, or graveside services professionally.
• Review and authorize merchandise and service revisions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
