Job summary

Service Corporation International seeks a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer to manage arrangements conferences, preside over visitation and funeral services, and oversee embalming processes in accordance with regulations.

You will coordinate event details, interact with families, and ensure accurate documentation and scheduling using proprietary software. A valid driver’s license and industry experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in practicing state.
• Experience in funeral service operations preferred.
• Strong communication with families and teams.
• Valid driver's license and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Arrangements Conference with deceased family.
• Preside as MC for visitation, funeral, or graveside services.
• Coordinate event planning (music, flowers, catering).
• Oversee embalming prep and compliance per procedures.
• Interact with families and gather pre-need leads.
• Ensure proper documentation and scheduling in software.
