You will conduct family assessments, develop home studies for initially approved families, and coordinate orientation meetings for prospective foster families, ensuring timely, accurate documentation.

A Bachelor’s in Human Services or Social Work is required; a Master’s degree with experience writing international adoption and SAFE assessments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work or a related field from an accredited college.
• Master’s degree is a plus, with experience writing adoption assessments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct family assessments per agency guidelines.
• Develop home studies for initially approved families.
• Coordinate orientation meetings for prospective foster families.
• May provide post-placement supervision of children in placement during the supervisory year.
• Manage all reports and documents to ensure timely, accurate submission.
• Stay up to date with training requirements and apply knowledge on the job.
• Regularly meet with supervisor to consult on cases and review case plans.
• Stay abreast of regulatory requirements related to Foster Care and Licensing.
