Job summary

Responsibilities extend to assisting with tray line setup, portioning nourishments, and recording temperatures and dietary substitutions according to procedures.

Qualifications

• Assists cook in preparing desserts or snacks for patients.
• Carries trays to patients and serves beverages.
• Performs dishwashing and maintains clean work areas.
• Maintains sanitation and infection control in the kitchen.
• Records temperatures of freezers and walk-in refrigerators as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in meal and dessert preparation.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments and beverages.
• Transfer meals to patient trays and deliver to dining areas.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas and equipment.
• Follow diet orders and record substitutions as needed.
