Job summary

Harrington Park Health & Rehab in Augusta, GA is seeking a Full Time Diet/ Kitchen Aide for Day/Evening shifts. Starting pay is $15.16/hour with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will join a compassionate, mission-driven team delivering high-quality meals and support to residents. Responsibilities include assisting cooks, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, following safety and dietary guidelines, and helping with nourishment between meals.

Qualifications

• Communicates well with patients, families and staff in a friendly, professional manner.
• Ability to read safety rules and procedures; write routine reports or notes.

Responsibilities

• Assists cook in preparing desserts or snacks for patients.
• Assists cook in preparation of meals.
• Carries trays to patients on halls.
• Cleans tables in the dining area after each meal.
• Helps with salads and desserts and other dishes.
• Serves patients beverages, etc.
• Takes meals out to patients in dining area.
• Prepares between-meal nourishments (make sandwiches, etc.).
• Cleans work area at end of shift and after meals, including sweeping and mopping.
• Removes garbage from kitchen areas and hoses out garbage containers.
• Promotes the image and reputation of the System by exhibiting servant leadership.
• Performs other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the System.
