Job summary

East Gate Care and Rehab is seeking a Floor Maintenance Worker to help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming resident areas. You will perform floor care, carpet upkeep, and light room arrangements while working in a compassionate senior-care environment.

We value reliable team members who can communicate in English, operate basic computer tools, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed. The role supports a small-team atmosphere within a larger network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Must communicate in English in writing and verbally.
• Ability to utilize a computer, phone, etc. for extended periods.
• Stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mopping, waxing, stripping, and buffing floors.
• Shampoo and vacuum carpets.
• Arrange furniture as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or GED preferred

1 year of experience preferred

English communication (written & verbal)

Basic computer skills
