Job summary

Mill Creek Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a diligent Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable spaces for residents, staff, and visitors. The role includes cleaning resident rooms and common areas, with adherence to infection control policies and safety protocols.

You will work 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM in a small, resident-centered facility, supporting team members and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Knows how to sweep, dust mop, and mop floors.
• Knows how to change and remove trash.
• Knows how to vacuum.
• Knows how to follow cleaning guidelines.
• Notifies supervisor when supplies are low.
• Keeps Housekeeping carts clean and in good working order.
• Properly stores equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Keeps a log of areas that are cleaned.
• Reports any mechanical or equipment condition to supervisor.
• Reports any questionable resident conditions to supervisor.
• Follow and maintain infection control guidance.
