Job summary

Caring Place Healthcare Group is seeking dedicated Housekeepers to keep Oak Creek Terrace clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors. This full-time role offers benefits and opportunities for growth in a compassionate, family‑owned setting.

You will work with a supportive team to maintain sanitary spaces, assist with laundry, and follow infection control guidelines while upholding the facility’s values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10th grade education required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, especially in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact positively with residents, families, and staff.
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, lift (50+ lbs), and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas including hallways, dining rooms, and recreational spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform carpet cleaning as needed.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces such as furniture, countertops, sinks, toilets, and showers.
• Clean walls, windows, mirrors, vents, elevators, and stairways as needed.
• Dispose of trash and hazardous waste in accordance with facility policies.
• Restock housekeeping and sanitation supplies throughout the facility.
• Assist with laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and restocking linens and clothing.
• Report maintenance needs or safety concerns to leadership.
• Support residents during mealtimes by assisting with trays and observing/reporting concerns.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintain a calm, respectful, and caring environment for residents and team members.
• Participate in required trainings, in-services, and team meetings
