Job summary

Mountrail County Health Center seeks a Housekeeper to perform daily housekeeping tasks in a senior-focused environment. You will clean, sanitize, and disinfect areas across the facility, using proper solutions and safety practices to protect residents and staff.

Must read and understand English, have at least elementary education, and be 16 years or older. This on-site role supports resident safety and confidentiality while coordinating with other departments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and understand English
• Completion of elementary education or ability to read, write, and follow directions
• At least 16 years of age
• Lifting 25 to 40 pounds
• Must be able to use a step ladder
• Positive attitude toward residents and coworkers
• Ability to recognize errors and make adjustments as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform day to day housekeeping tasks in all areas as assigned: clean, wash, sanitize, and disinfect surfaces and items.
• Use proper cleaning and disinfecting solutions and procedures.
• Maintain work areas clean, safe, and attractive; post safety signs as required.
• Store equipment, tools and supplies properly.
• Follow established Universal Precautions, Infection Control, and Sanitation policies.
• Report hazardous conditions and equipment to supervisors.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping with other departments as needed.
• Ensure resident, patient, visitor, and employee safety during duties.
• Maintain resident and patient confidentiality.
