Job summary

Adult Enrichment is seeking a compassionate Program Aide to support individuals with disabilities in daily living, recreation, and learning activities. You will provide person-centered assistance based on each participant's plan.

This role includes helping with personal care, facilitating educational and enrichment activities, and supporting health maintenance tasks as outlined in the plan. A positive, dependable attitude and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with people with disabilities, plus experience in an adult day program or adult recreational setting preferred.
• Must pass criminal background checks.
• Must complete and pass a company physical.
• Lifting is required – must be able to lift 50 lbs independently and repetitively.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assisting with daily living activities such as hygiene, grooming, eating, toileting and other personal needs.
• Assist with individual's educational, recreational, and enrichment activities.
• Facilitates health maintenance activities which may include but are not limited to: transfers, ROM (Range of Motion) exercises, or other duties as outlined in the individual’s support plan.
