Qualifications

• Embalmer or apprentice experience as required by state law; 2 years in a 200-call minimum/year firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for deceased respectfully; verify ID and embalming authorization; perform restorations and removals.
• Dress, style hair, cosmetics; prepare the deceased as needed for services.
• Adhere to all licensing authority regulations and safety rules.
• Maintain preparation room and facility; clean equipment and manage spills.
• Receive caskets and supplies; manage inventory and universal precautions.
