Harvest Home Senior Living is seeking a caring Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities, medications, meals, and social activities. You will work under ISPs and state regulations to provide respectful, dignified care in a Christian environment.

The role emphasizes punctuality, teamwork, and a cheerful attitude. You will assist with medications, participate in activities, and help maintain a safe, comfortable living space for residents.

Qualifications

• Desire to work with the elderly in a Christian environment that upholds privacy, dignity, choice, independence, and individuality.
• Maintain punctual attendance according to work schedule.
• Able to organize and utilize time appropriately to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
• Able to work well with others and function effectively as part of a team.
• Good grooming and willingness to follow dress requirements.
• Cheerful, enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn new knowledge/skills.
• Able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally more than 50 pounds, and spend long periods of time walking/standing.

Responsibilities

• Promote Harvest Home Senior Living Services mission and philosophy in daily work.
• Maintain a professional positive attitude at all times.
• Be punctual and maintain reliable attendance according to scheduled times.
• Review resident ISP to stay informed on needs and health changes.
• Assist residents with medications and treatments as allowed by regulation.
• Respond to calls from residents promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and serve meals according to plan, involving residents when possible.
• Support residents' participation in group and individual activities per ISPs.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment through light housekeeping as needed.
• Monitor changes in resident needs and report them per procedures.
• Respond to emergencies per training and report any abuse or suspected abuse.
