Job summary

Waterford Communities Assisted Living and Memory Care in Lincoln, NE is seeking a dedicated aide to provide ADL assistance, meals, and daily living support to residents. You will follow care plans, assist with admissions, and help maintain a clean, safe environment.

The role requires compassionate care for an aging population, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and compliance with infection control and confidentiality policies. Nebraska Nurse Aide Registry and CPR certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Nebraska Nurse Aide Registry preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Waterford’s shift report procedures, maintaining confidential communication.
• Follow written care plans; report changes to Medication Aide/Director of Healthcare and adjust care plan as directed.
• Greet visitors, direct calls to appropriate personnel, post messages as required.
• Follow emergency procedures; document events and forward information to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with resident admissions: prepare rooms, orient new residents, help with unpacking and tours.
• Assist with orientation and training of new personnel.
• Attend all mandatory staff meetings.
• Arrive on time and provide advance notification per policy.
• Perform duties per applicable regulations.
• Communicate positively with staff and residents; stay calm under pressure.
