Belong is recruiting a Care Assistant to join our Belong Birkdale home. You will work alongside a team to deliver person-centred care for residents, promoting dignity and respect in daily routines and activities.

The role involves supporting residents with personal care, mealtimes and social interaction in a warm, inclusive setting. DBS checks and ongoing training are part of our commitment to high standards of care.

Formación

• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Previous experience working within an elderly care setting.
• Team player but able to work on your own initiative.
• Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate compassion, empathy and a person-centred approach to caring for older people.
• Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised
• Able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the household.
• Provide assistance, personal care, activities and companionship to residents
• Be alert to residents’ needs, health and wellbeing
• Respect the residents’ dignity and privacy
• Work with residents and their families to deliver tailored care to each individual
• Assist with mealtimes and safe moving
• Maintain accurate records for each resident
