Ivy Living’s Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Care Provider to deliver personal assistance and daily care to residents across our California campuses, promoting independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, responding to resident needs promptly, communicating changes to supervisors, maintaining safety, and fostering teamwork with staff and departments.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Oakmont Management Group may require vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear PPE to prevent spread of COVID-19 or other diseases per guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in their care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected changes in resident condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
