Job summary

Senior Resource Group is seeking a dedicated caregiver for full-time shifts in Goleta, California. The role includes overnight coverage (Sunday-Thursday for 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm with certain rotations). You will assist residents with daily living, promote independence, and help with meals and hygiene while maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Prior CNA or caregiver experience is valued. We offer training and emphasize compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Experience with residents, especially those with dementia, preferred.
• Must be reliable and available for overnight hours.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident assistance with daily living activities.
• Keep residents' environment clean, safe and comfortable.
• Perform daily housekeeping and laundering tasks.
• Set up meals and clean up after.
• Deliver services per resident service plan, monitor health and medications as delegated.
• Assist with programming activities and participate in team meetings.
• Maintain professional appearance and positive attitude on duty.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and document end-of-shift reports.
• Escort residents and assist transfers as needed.
