Job summary

Griswold Home Care for Greater Thousand Oaks is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team. This companionship and caregiving role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00am to 5:00pm and a $20.00 hourly wage, with weekly pay.

We provide health and dental benefits, PTO, overtime, ongoing training and development, and opportunities for advancement. Reliable transportation and at least 6 months of home care or facility experience are encouraged, and training is available.

Qualifications

• 6 months of home care or facility experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Compassionate and dependable.
• Ability to work weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Provide non‑medical elderly care and home companionship.
• Assist with daily living activities (laundry, shopping, meal preparation).
• Support personal hygiene, bathing, and feeding with dignity.
• Offer companionship and cognitive support for clients with dementia or impairments.
• Complete shift documentation and communicate client needs to office.
