Visiting Angels is seeking a Patient Care Aide - PCA to support seniors in the Sumter Midlands area. You will provide compassionate in-home care, help with daily activities, and promote independence for clients staying at home.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent time-management and reliable transportation needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping tasks.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompt clients to take medications on schedule.
• Assist with shopping and meal planning/preparation.
• Support mobility and accompany clients to appointments and walks.
