Alamance House is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, comfortable environment for residents in Burlington, NC. You will perform general cleaning, laundry, waste disposal, and inventory tasks while ensuring safety and sanitation throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Maintenance: vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and mopping common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms.
• Laundry Services: wash, fold, and distribute laundry for residents and staff.
• Waste Management: dispose of trash and recycling properly, keep waste areas clean.
• Inventory Management: restock cleaning supplies and notify management of shortages.
• Safety & Sanitation: follow safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Team Collaboration: work with staff to maintain facility and resident comfort.
• Resident Engagement: interact with residents in a friendly, respectful manner.
