Job summary

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia is seeking a Transportation Driver to provide door-to-door services for elderly passengers, ensuring safe and timely travel to medical appointments and other essential destinations. The role requires driving a small bus, car, or van with attention to safety and disability transportation standards.

Candidates should have a valid PA driver’s license, a clean driving record, and at least 2 years of passenger transport experience.

Qualifications

• Valid PA Driver’s License.
• Clean driving record; at least 3 years of active license.
• Experience in passenger transport preferred; ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred; ability to use GPS and electronic tools.

Responsibilities

• Transport elderly passengers to medical appointments, clinics, and other designated destinations.
• Ensure trips are safe, timely, and compliant with disability transportation regulations.
• Assist passengers with mobility limitations in boarding, seating, and exiting the vehicle.
• Operate small bus, car and van; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and readiness.
• Maintain accurate trip records and sign sheets; communicate schedule changes with supervisors.
