Job summary

Sittercity Incorporated is seeking caring care companions to assist an elderly client on an as-needed basis in Houston, TX. You will support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meal setup, and medication reminders, while promoting independence and safety at home.

The role requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to adapt to changing needs as the client recovers from surgery and while her family provides oversight. Flexible hours offered in a home setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with elder care or home care preferred.
• Ability to assist with daily living activities (ADLs) and safety at home.
• Reliable, patient, and compassionate with flexibility to adapt to needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs and essential caregiving tasks.
• Provide bathing and dressing assistance as needed.
• Prepare meals and set up for eating.
• Medication reminders and coordination of daily routine.
• Check on client daily and report changes to family.
