Heritage Inn Sandersville is seeking a dedicated cook/dietary aide to support meal preparation for elderly residents. You will follow dietician-created menus, operate kitchen equipment, and ensure meals are served on time while maintaining strict hygiene standards.

Responsibilities include line service, portion control, dietary substitutions, and reports on equipment or safety issues. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen with a compassionate, patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret menus and follow dietary instructions.
• Capable of following recipes and preparing meals for the elderly in large quantities.

Responsabilités

• Prepares various foods per dietician-created menus for each meal.
• Operates kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, and steamers.
• Maintains clean work surfaces and follows infection control policies.
• Ensures meals are prepared and served on time and portion-controlled.
• Assists in dietary changes and accommodates substitutions as needed.
• Reports equipment or facility issues to maintenance when needed.
