Job summary

Avenues Home Care of Tennessee is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support elderly and vulnerable clients in Knoxville and surrounding areas. You will perform ADLs, assist with medications, and ensure safe, compassionate care aligned with each client’s plan.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Training on the ClearCare system and adherence to safety policies are expected, with shifts including varied lengths and PRN options.

Qualifications

• Work requires good communication skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written assignments.
• Proficiency with ClearCare homecare management system.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs per client care plan (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, eating).
• Assist with medication reminders, housekeeping, laundry, meals, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
• Report daily activity to supervisor via agency management system and logs.
