Job summary

The role requires strong accuracy in rhythm recognition and confidentiality. Schedule involves 2 12‑hour shifts per week with rotating weekends; high school diploma and BLS are required, with CCT preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) preferred.
• Proficiency with computers, software and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, instructs and educates patients on the procedure.
• Performs diagnostic 12‑lead EKG tests.
• Documents and maintains patient records.
• Prepares work area and equipment for procedures.
• Adapts communication and procedure explanations to the patient population.
• Performs other related duties as required.
