Job summary

Brewer Veterinary Clinic in Brewer, ME seeks a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our AAHA-accredited, high-volume small animal practice. You’ll work with the latest technology, a supportive team, and a rich clinical environment focused on the highest quality care for dogs and cats.

Responsibilities include examining and diagnosing diseases, performing dental procedures, vaccinations, and collaborating with referring veterinarians.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree required.
• 2+ years of veterinary medicine experience preferred.
• ME Veterinary License or ability to attain it.
• Internship training preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (dogs/cats) and treat surgically or medically.
• Collaborate with referring veterinarians and within our veterinary ecosystem.
• Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training.
• Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients on well-pet care.
• Perform dental procedures as needed.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive workplace for staff and clients.
