Job summary

Brewer Veterinary Clinic in Brewer, ME is seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join our AAHA-accredited, high-volume practice. You will diagnose and treat dogs and cats, collaborate with referring vets, and engage in ongoing education with access to state-of-the-art facilities.

We offer a base salary of $100,000–$120,000 with an incentive bonus up to $125,000 and relocation support up to $25,000, plus strong benefits and a supportive team culture focused on growth and pet care excellence.

Qualifications

• DVM degree required or equivalent.
• 2+ years of veterinary medicine in a hospital setting preferred.
• Internship training preferred but not required.
• Ability to attain ME Veterinary License.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (dogs and cats) and treat surgically or medically.
• Collaborate with other veterinarians and referring vets.
• Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay current.
• Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients on well-pet care.
• Perform dental procedures as needed.
• Contribute to a positive workplace culture for staff and clients.

Brewer Veterinary Clinic is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to our team.

At our Rarebreed clinic, you can help reimagine the veterinary experience in your community. Brewer Veterinary Clinic is an AAHA-accredited, high-volume, small animal practice. We have seven doctors on staff, and we treat all small animals! Our dedicated staff consists of a team of receptionists, veterinary assistants, licensed veterinary technicians, and veterinarians. We all work together to offer compassionate and superior care to our clients and their companions! We have a newly renovated state of the art facility, on-site digital radiography, ultrasound, IDEXX testing equipment, as well as a well-stocked surgical suite and pharmacy. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians
• Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field
• Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in well-pet care
• Perform dentals as needed
