Redwood Family Care Network in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Direct Support Professional for weekend shifts to assist adults with developmental disabilities in daily living. The role includes helping with hygiene, meals, and transportation, with an emphasis on safety and compassion.

Position is part-time with potential for ongoing orientation and benefits. Requires background check, driver’s license, and First Aid/CPR. Saturated weekend schedule and in-person orientation are included.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
• Must have California Driver’s License.
• First Aid / CPR certification.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with physical and developmental disabilities in daily living.
• Outline and prepare daily routines per IPP.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
• Assist with personal care and grooming.
• Transport clients in a personal vehicle and document mileage.
• Report incidents and communicate with administrators.
• Support residents' social activities and outings.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
