Kindly Direct Care in Middletown, NJ is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide one-to-one support for a 24-year-old adult with developmental disabilities. The role requires a driver's license and reliable transport, with a schedule of three days per week from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, located in Monmouth County.

You will assist with daily activities, community participation, and life-skills development, while maintaining safety and documenting progress for the care plan.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to provide consistent, person-centered support in home and community settings.
• Comfort with behavioral support needs and documenting progress.

Responsabilités

• Provide one-to-one companionship and person-centered support.
• Help the individual participate in community outings.
• Support errands, appointments, recreation, volunteering, and social activities.
• Encourage independence, communication, decision-making, and life skills.
• Assist with achieving goals in the service plan.
• Provide reminders and light assistance as required by the case.
• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
• Complete required documentation and communicate with the Kindly team.
