Sevita is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional in Ohio to support individuals with developmental disabilities in residential settings. You will help with daily living activities, personal care, socialization, and community integration.

The role requires 18+ and a high school diploma; prior experience in human services is preferred. You will document progress, follow plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and well-being.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Working knowledge of computers.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver support per individual service plans, including socialization and daily living skills.
• Assist with personal care, housekeeping, transportation, and community activities.
• Accurately document progress and activity; maintain confidentiality.
• Make cost-effective purchases within the individual’s budget and preferences.
• Maintain professional relationships with individuals, families, guardians, and case managers.
• Report any abuse or neglect; report medical, behavioral and other incidents per policy.
