Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Centre Hall, Pennsylvania. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

We are a mission-driven company serving hundreds of clients and offering paid training and growth opportunities. Starting pay is $20-25 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments when averaging 20+ hours

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass background checks (criminal, driving, healthcare registry).
Willingness to assist with personal care when needed.
Lifting may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
Assist with daily living activities such as meal prep, hygiene, and household tasks.
Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
Encourage independence and development of new skills.
Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
