Job summary

Traditional Home Care currently seeks Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to individuals with developmental or behavioral needs in Bloomsburg, Danville, Berwick and surrounding areas. Competitive pay and flexible shifts are offered, with options for full-time, part-time, and evenings.

Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, safety teaching, and helping clients achieve daily goals while promoting community involvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Provide companionship and social interaction.
• Use appropriate communication skills with individuals and caregivers.
• Perform light housekeeping and chores.
• Ensure a safe environment and teach basic safety skills.
• Support individuals to meet goals and daily outcomes.
• Encourage community involvement through outings and activities.
