Job summary

Help at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. Start at $17/hour with flexible schedules, orientation, and growth opportunities, plus health benefits and PTO.

You will provide one-on-one assistance, help with daily living skills, and promote independence while documenting progress and coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background check and required training.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (proof of insurance).
• Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients’ homes and communities.
• Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community.
• Assist with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, grooming, transportation).
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Help individuals achieve personal goals and celebrate progress.
• Promote choice, independence, and self-advocacy.
• Accurately document care, activities, and progress.
