Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in Chester and Delaware County, PA.

DSPs work one-on-one in home and community settings as companions and mentors, providing care and encouragement to help clients reach their full potential. We offer part-time roles with the opportunity to accrue full-time hours, flexible scheduling across multiple shift locations, and a supportive, values-driven

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities (If you do not have this experience, training may be available through our apprentice program)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Participate in community integration activities

Skills

Caregiving experience with ID/IDD
