Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Direct Support Personnel (DSP) to join the team in Union County, PA and surrounding areas. DSPs provide one-on-one care in home and community settings, serving as companions and mentors for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Position starts part-time with potential for full-time opportunities. Pay is $17/hr plus experience-based increases, with flexible scheduling and opportunities near your home.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, basic hygiene).
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
• Spend time on the client’s hobbies and activities.
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
• Participate in community integration activities.
