Job summary

Firefly is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with developmental disabilities in Joplin, MO. You’ll provide daily living support, transportation, and community participation with a dedicated team.

No experience is required—paid training is provided, and you can work evenings and weekends as full-time or part-time. A caring heart makes the difference in helping clients build independence and confidence every day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Support adults with developmental disabilities in homes and communities.
• Help access community resources and social activities.
• Provide transportation for appointments and outings.
• Teach independent living skills (cooking, cleaning, budgeting).
• Document client progress and milestones; communicate with families and team.
• Follow Individual Support Plans and participate in team meetings.
