Brandi's Hope Community Services is looking for a Direct Support Professional (Days) who is patient, kind and energetic to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily living skills, job supports, self-care, recreation and community inclusion, and may transport clients to appointments.

This is a day-shift position with several flexible shifts in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of One (1) year of verifiable work experience in the last three (3) years.
• Must possess a current, valid driver’s license to transport clients as needed.
• Must possess current CPR training.
• Must submit to an extensive background check and drug screening before employment offer is made.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily support to individuals with varying degrees of development/intellectual disabilities.
• Assist with job supports, self-care, recreational activities and community inclusion.
• Transport clients to appointments as needed.
• Support feeding and hygiene as required by client needs.
• Duties will be discussed with the employer.
