Job summary

MBK Senior Living in Modesto, CA, is seeking a full-time Driver to provide safe, timely transportation for residents. You will help residents access medical appointments, excursions and programs while keeping community vehicles in good condition.

Requirements include at least 1 year of driving experience, a valid CA driver’s license, and the ability to work a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekends. We offer comprehensive benefits and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years driving experience.
• 2+ years driving with basic maintenance knowledge preferred.
• Valid state license with appropriate class.
• Background checks health screening and TB test results required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents and guests to medical appointments, local excursions, and programs.
• Load/unload residents, operate wheelchair lift, and secure wheelchairs.
• Communicate with the community staff about resident location and status.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Report safety or mechanical issues to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain current vehicle registrations and insurance information in the vehicle.
• Coordinate regular vehicle maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
