Cogir Senior Living in Scottsdale, AZ, seeks a Driver to transport residents to appointments and activities, ensuring safety and friendly service. You will assist residents entering/exiting, load mobility aids, and maintain vehicle readiness for daily operations.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid state license (CDL may be required by state), and 3+ years of driving history with a patient, professional demeanor. The role supports community programs and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver's license; passenger endorsement if required.
• 3+ years driving history with a clean record.
• 1+ year experience driving a passenger vehicle, preferably in healthcare or senior living.
• Experience operating large vehicles or similar vehicles.
• Excellent customer service and a professional, friendly demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and respect for residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable, courteous transportation for residents to locations such as appointments and activities.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, using wheelchair lift or stairs as needed.
• Ensure safety and accountability of residents during trips and when returning to the community.
• Prepare the van/bus for operation and coordinate basic vehicle maintenance.
• Maintain proper vehicle documents and comply with state policies.
• Follow traffic safety procedures and keep licenses current as required.
• Assist in resident programs and events, engaging residents during trips.
• Build positive relationships with residents through friendly conversations.
