Responsibilities

• Loads dishwasher according to department’s policies and procedures.
• Ensures dishwasher temperature complies with state and federal regulations.
• Assists cooks in meal preparation as requested.
• Assists in replacing stock and maintaining storeroom cleanliness.
• Maintains a clean and neat kitchen.
• Assists servers by responding to residents’ requests in a positive, customer-friendly manner.
• Maintains residents’ confidentiality and rights.
• Maintains professional appearance and positive environment for residents, families, and guests.
• Ensures adequate daily meal service coverage by coordinating with Culinary Services Director/Host/Hostess.
