Job summary

Aurora Staffing seeks compassionate staff to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities within Archway Programs in New Jersey and nearby communities. You will report to the Community Home Manager and help clients achieve personal goals in home and community settings.

The role includes assisting with daily living, planning with ISP teams, medication support, and documentation. Aimed at fostering inclusion and safety, the position offers a structured, supportive work

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Must pass mandated trainings including CPR and First Aid.
Criminal history background checks (CHRI) clearance required.
Must pass state background check (N.J. DHS/NJAC) clearance.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and CARI clearance.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with daily living activities including health management, communication, goal setting, meal planning, shopping, housekeeping, and safety.
Participate in development of Individual Support Plans and Planning Team meetings.
Complete required paperwork accurately (logs, ISP data, etc.).
Administer medications as needed and ensure proper documentation.
Travel with clients in company vehicles; provide transportation as required.
Attend staff meetings and required trainings; promote high-quality community activities.
