Job summary

AHL HealthCare Group is seeking extraordinary, kind, and compassionate Direct Support Professionals to act as advocates, supporters, educators, and caregivers for individuals with disabilities or mental illness in home settings. You will promote independence and safety within our community-based homes.

We offer flexible schedules, paid time off, holiday pay, growth opportunities, and a range of insurances. Compensation is $18.00 per hour with weekend rotations and part-time/full-time options.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years or older.
• Pass MN DHS Background Study
• Every other weekend availability required
• Driver's license is required

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including grooming, cooking, cleaning and laundry.
• Demonstrate positive and supportive behavior with clients and coworkers.
• Medication administration and daily documentation in the electronic records.
• Socialize with residents and accompany them to appointments and activities.
